GANESHA PROJECT NEWS: The purpose of the Ganesha Project is to collectively use our energy to
manifest our dreams, no matter what they are. Ganesha is the remover of obstacles, but we are the
engines for the work. Cultivating the attitudes of higher emotions through connecting to Ganesha's
images is a suggested route to your truth. Spiritual practices such as prayer and chanting the
Ganesha chant will relieve anxieties while the higher powers clear the path for you.
If you already have a Ganesha image, keep yourself strong by spending some time contemplating the
    image and symbolism of Ganesha.

Gansha is a being of light, and as such, he is there to remind us of our higher values and our very
pronounced powers of self transformation of consciousness. Set your intention today to implement
your values as you see them now, after your sojourn in the underworld. Be a peaceful warrior like
Ganesha, and ask that the obstacles be removed from your path. Seeing things in a new way is the
    hardest work you do.

I call upon the beneficent forces of the Universe to assist me today to
clear my path of obstacles. I am willing to sacrifice what is false as my
    contribution to this process.

News and Feedback
    Dear Readers,
I had a talk with Venus, the other day, and she has offered to come out of the shadows. Inanna (or
Venus) has emerged from her 40 days and 40 nights of retrograde, torment and darkness, where
she spent time sacrificing in the underworld realm. She has suffered and endured, has been utterly
changed in polarity. Now, She emerges as the Red Goddess, the Goddess of the Dawn. Venus has
transformed herself from the White Goddess of the evening into the Red Goddess of morning. This
can only happen if she has spent time in the underworld doing the actual work of transformation.
She symbolically suffers to insure the power of transformation.
A woman has no choice but to endure cycles. She is subject to the cycles of the Moon, her own
body, and the deceits and mirroring of other’s shadows. When she approaches the gate of the
underworld, she is discarding the vanities and superficial things that she mistakenly became
attached to. The dance of the 7 veils is the gradual removal of her attachments and pride, including
her mind. Only when naked and divested of what is false can she approach the door of mysteries.
The underworld is traditionally where the dead go and where the living may occasionally go for
transformation. It is a metaphor for the lonely and difficult path of spiritual mastery. It is a place of
no return for the average soul, yet the queen of heaven may approach it at the proper time, and
partake of its transformational power. In that context we can also ritually imitate the process of the
Goddess, and use our time to sacrifice, purify and transform.
In 2007, this moment began on July 28. It was a moment when Venus began this transformation of
her values and relationships. When she emerged 40 days later it was September 8, 2007.
During the punishment and torment phase, many of your relationships may have suffered as you
withdrew your love. You were deciding again how to best share your love. This is the stage that
represents wrestling with your own resistance to the good as you see it. You may decide to end a
relationship, or you may meet someone new during the 40 days. Look out because it may blow up
when Venus goes stationary direct, as she did on Sept 8, 2007
The point of re emergence occurs when Venus crosses her stationary point and comes out from
the underworld as the newly transformed Goddess of the morning. She is beautified, clear and
radiant. She is not a pleaser now. She has shorn herself of what is false. In fact, in many versions of
the story, Venus begins her return to her city when she sets off from the underworld. She is
purposefully traveling to her home city, the place of her birth. She is the ruler there, but in order to
go through the transformation she had to leave her city. She left her consort, Tammuz, in charge.
Tammuz was the shepherd god, and let me tell you, he was a younger man and super cute and sexy.
The problem was that Venus had been gone so long that he had helped himself to too many things
of hers. Her intention upon returning is to set things to right and take back her power. In some
versions of the story, she sends him back to the underworld to take her place, for it is breaking the
rules for anyone to enter and then leave. The situation required a substitute sacrifice and she
    sends him.
In other versions, she simply cleans house and has a revolution, so that she is once again
respected and ruling with the proper boundaries in her world. In any case, she asserts her power
and that is what sets her world to rights.
Ask your self how many times you wanted to make changes, but were unable to gather the
momentum or the nerve power to initiate them. Now think about the energy of this symbolic story. It
represents a plan of action, doesn’t it? Let me illustrate.
First part of the cycle: Venus is evening, gorgeous, made for pleasure, and accommodating .
Loving unconditionally, she sees all in a positive light. She chooses to interpret things in favor of
mercy, and she wants her own fantasy to continue, so she indulges the children and her consort,
Tammuz. Her pleasure is to dote on her family, and excuse everything, to give all and expect
nothing in return. The giving itself  is the reward for her at this stage.
It takes 7 months, but gradually, she notices that she is less content to give unconditionally.
Somehow, she has changed during the 7 months and finds it hard to give anymore. Can you relate?
Middle part of the cycle: Venus is retrograde, and she is in the underworld. This lasts for 40 days
and 40 nights. She forces the issue, hits bottom, and dies to the drama. She is tired of things not
working. This is the time of trial. In the middle part to the cycle she becomes stationary direct. This
is the point of transformation, the time for you to choose a new direction after shattering your old
    way of doing things.
Last part of the cycle: she reemerges and leaves the underworld, proceeding back to her home
“city” where she left her consort in charge. Now is the time to put your newly clarified values into
practice in your life and relationships.
Each one of us can use a plan of action. If you feel that there is more love than you can express or
you feel your love seeming to die, there is a stage in the Goddess’ life that describes what you are
doing. Take inspiration from this, and see that we are subject to cycles. This requires rising above
things, taking the power of your true Self, and rising above the cycles of the universe to know the
    truth for yourself.
    Namaste
